Calgary Celiac is once again partnering with SAIT to offer a gluten-free feast for the Celiac and gluten-intolerant community. This year, SAIT’s Highwood Kitchen + Bar is offering a four-course menu for $70, including tax and tip on Friday, May 3rd at 5:30 pm.

The Highwood Kitchen + Bar is ever evolving as trends and creativity push the threshold of their industry. Culinary instructors are constantly challenging what their culinary students create and learn.
Not only are both the front-of-house and back-of-house students learning to serve or cook, they also learn the importance of preparation of a safe environment for guests. When the Highwood Kitchen + Bar hosts the Calgary Celiac Association, the faculty and staff spend the week prior to the event showing the significance of cleaning the space and equipment to avoid any forms of cross contamination and the proper hygiene to follow when addressing any special dietary needs.
