The Calgary Celiac Association is registered under the Alberta Societies act.

The Calgary Celiac Association is a federally registered charity and a Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association.

Mission:

To be the primary support and advocate for Southern Albertans with celiac disease and gluten-related disorders.

The objects of the society are:

  1. To assist persons with celiac disease and gluten related disorders in every way possible.
  2. To aid and assist in the education and training of professionals, parents and the public generally as may be required to further the objects of the association.
  3. To prepare, collect, assess and disseminate information and material relating to the celiac disease and gluten related disorders.
  4. To investigate availability and procurement of gluten free foods.
  5. To solicit, collect or otherwise raise money for the foregoing purposes and for other purposes directly applicable to the treatment of Celiac disease and gluten related disorders and assistance to sufferers therefrom.

The Calgary Celiac Association works together with the

Canadian Celiac Association to fulfill the mission of the Society.
